The novel was published in two editions - the first in 1993 and the second in 2004. Set against a backdrop of conflict and a deep belief in eventual victory, it portrays the movements of various armies across Karan’s Kozara, alongside uncertainty, fear, famine, death, and the awkwardness of so-called "invincible" soldiers. Amid this turmoil, the author weaves a powerful and haunting narrative, marked by perseverance, dignity, and moral conviction. With patience and insight, he transforms real-life experiences into a compelling and engaging literary work. The novel has been translated from Serbian into English and German, with the German edition pending publication. It is translated into Polish, too. The novel is also available online at Amazon.com
